In September 2023, our school was visited by Kirsty Norbury, His Majesty's Inspector, from OFSTED to monitor our school's progress and development since the last inspection.
It was an extremely positive visit and it was judged that our school has met all of the improvement targets set by OFSTED in May 2022 in just 14 months.
The final report was published at the end of October 2023 and can be accessed here.
The city council is again working with Samworth Brothers to support families with food over the October half term. There will be six pop up venues across the city that will give parents of free school meal children and those needing additional support, the opportunity to collect food for the half term.

Congratulations to our Year 5 who have just completed the two-week Bikeability programme!
As well as learning about basic skills for keeping their bikes in good condition, the children have learnt about reading road signs and markings and how to keep themselves safe when cycling on busy roads.
The children who completed the programme were awarded a special certificate in assembly!

Our Girls' Football team recently won a Leicester football tournament and earned the right to represent Leicester City Football Club at a national tournament being held at Vicarage Road, the home of Watford FC today.
The girls met up at the King Power Stadium at 5.00am this morning for the journey to Watford!
Not only are they representing our school, but also Leicester City Football Club itself!

As part of our World Book Day 2022 celebrations in school, we held a 'Decorate Your Classroom Door' competition! Each class chose a favourite book as their inspiration!
Congratulations to the FS1 Nursery Toucans Class who won the competition with their amazing Dinosaur Door!
The Year 1 Hummingbirds were runners-up with their Goldilocks Door!

On Wednesday 29th September 2021, our school will be taking part in Leicester City Catering's 'Low Carbon Lunch', designed to promote sustainable food sources and local produce.
Year 1 have been very busy as part of their curriculum topic work building nests! The birds are very lucky to have such amazing nests!
Last year, our School Council took part in a project with the Woodland Trust to plant over 300 trees in our school grounds.
