Our school promotes a Growth Mindset approach to help children become confident learners. This approach is supported by our Learning Powers, which are promoted in every lesson.
We have structured lessons to incorporate Learning Powers which ensures a consistent approach to learning across our school. Our language for learning is used throughout the school by everyone: children, teachers, teaching assistants and lunchtime supervisors. This helps us to talk about and understand how we learn, both within school and in our wider life.
We believe the attributes and attitudes our children learn at our school will enable them to become strong learners for life.
We support our pupils to understand that making mistakes is part of good learning and to be brave, curious and collaborative in their learning and to keep trying!
