This year, the Year 5 teaching staff are Mrs Harvey Mrs Unka, Mrs Emmony, Mrs Adamowicz and Mrs Ingram. We look forward to teaching you all!
This year, our P.E. lesson will be on a Thursday - please ensure that you come to school dressed in appropriate P.E. kit on a Thursday morning.
Year 5 will also be swimming on a Wedneday afternoon - we will provide more information about this over the course of the year.
Termly homework will be set on under the Homework tab on this page. If your child is struggling to complete their homework, they should speak to a Year 5 teacher.
Along with termly homework, we will be sending home ten spellings each week for children to practise at home. Children will then be tested on these spellings on a Friday afternoon.
Your child should also be reading at home at least four times a week for ten minutes. This could be their school reading book, or a book they have at home.
Children also have logins to access Numbots, Times Tables Rock Stars, and My Maths.
