Buswells Lodge is a school like no other and it is a huge privilege to be able to lead such an extraordinary school community.

Our aim is to instil within our children a strong sense of belonging and community - to give them the safety and security of being part of something bigger than themselves, and an understanding of the responsibility that brings. 

We want our children to have a strong sense of identity and independence.  Through effective communication skills, our aim is for our children to be able to express themselves and their aspirations for the future.  They will inspire and be inspired.

We help our pupils to have a clear moral compass, positive character and the confidence to speak up and challenge inequality.  They show resilience in the face of adversity and recognise the value of failure as much as success.  They are silly and playful, enthusiastic and energetic, engaged and engaging.  Most of all, we want them to be happy at school.
