COVID-19 CATCH UP FUNDING
Following the national lockdown and schools' closure between March and July 2020, the Department for Education has allocated additional funding to schools to allow them to implement interventions and strategies to help pupils, whose learning has been affected by the loss of regular teaching, catch up and make progress.
For the Autumn term 2020, our school was allocated £7,900.
Our school plans to use this money from the second half of the Spring term 2021, once the school re-opens from the third National Lockdown, following the analysis of autumn term 2020 teacher assessment data and assessments once school resumes, in order to ensure that the appropriate pupils are targeted and key areas for intervention are identified.
In addition to this, our school has also been allocated 5-days worth of support from a National Leader of Education (NLE) in order to monitor our Recovery Curriculum and the use of this additional funding.
This web page will be updated regularly to provide information about how the additional funding is being used, its impact on pupil progress and the outcomes of external monitoring.
