Alchemy Island

As we've been reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Mrs Lovell kindly brought in some Turkish Delight fr us to try.

During our express week, we designed and made board games. We also wrote questions linked to our Alchemy Island topic to use within the game. Of course, we then had to test them out by playing them!

As part of our innovate week, we composed and performed soundtracks for our own versions of a video game about Alchemy Island. Here are our compositions:

Zahra, Riley and Kenzie

Racheal and Kareem

Olivier, Hope and Vanda

This week we have been writing our own soliloquies to express our thoughts and feelings about hunting for gold. Some of the children then performed them.

We used scientific techniques to test the samples from Alchemy Island.

We began to think about portals and went outside to look for possible portals on the playground!

Today we were visited by the Alchemist's apprentice. He set us the challenge of helping him to become a 'real' alchemist.
