100 days at school

On 7th February we celebrated being at school for 100 days. We did lots of different activities based around the number 100.

We came dressed in t-shirts that had 100 things on them.

We collected 100 objects in a bag.

We collected cereal boxes and stood them up like dominoes . We didn't have 100 so we did it twice!

We made cards at home and brought them in to show our class.

Making hats, bracelets and badges

We looked at the objects that we had collected in the bags.

They all contained 100 but they were all different.

We compared some of the bags.

We timed how long it took to do 100 star jumps. It was 2 minutes 31 seconds!

We went to the big playground and did 100 steps. We thought we would get to the end but we didn't quite. We estimated how many more steps it would take to get to the end. We were 5 short!

We had a fantastic day thinking about the number 100.

Thank you to parents for helping their child to create a t-shirt, fill a bag and collect cereal boxes.

We are now 100 days smarter!
