In today's society ICT is routed in every aspect of life, from playing computer games to coding in Minecraft. Children's knowledge is expanding rapidly and our curriculum is up to date to cope with this.

Each classroom is equipped with a touchscreen, which is used to integrate ICT and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum. The children also have access to cameras, IPads and a suite of desktops.

In order to deliver the Computing curriculum, we have adopted the Switched on Computing scheme of work as this fully meets the new programme of study for both KS1 and KS2. The majority of software used throughout the units can be downloaded for free, via a simple Google search, so please have a look if your child asks about downloading a certain piece of software.

All school technology is fully protected and monitored so that the children can browse the internet safely. In order to further support the children and teach them how to stay safe online, 'E-Safety' is specifically taught as part of our PSHE curriculum.
